Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026 · Version 2026-06-18-draft
⚠️ DRAFT — placeholder only. Not reviewed by an attorney and not complete. Must be replaced with a counsel-reviewed policy (covering CCPA/CPRA and other applicable laws) before launch.
Information we collect
- Account & identity: email, legal name, postal address, phone, and your skills/equipment.
- Payment: your USDC wallet address; later, tax info (W-9/W-8) collected through a verification partner.
- Verification (later, at payout): government ID and tax identification, handled by a third-party KYC provider.
- Records: consent timestamp, IP address, and device/user-agent, kept for legal and fraud-prevention purposes.
- Approximate location: a coarse, city-level coordinate (rounded ~11km) derived from your address, used only for the public "live network" map and task matching.
How we protect it
Sensitive personal information (legal name, phone, and address) is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage, in addition to encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and our database provider's encryption at rest. Government ID and tax identifiers are handled by specialized verification partners and are not stored in plaintext by CyberHands. Access is limited to what is necessary to operate the service.
How we use it
- To create your account, match you to tasks, and pay you.
- To verify identity, prevent fraud, and comply with legal, tax, and anti–money-laundering obligations.
- To show a coarse, non-identifying dot on our public map of the live network.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers (e.g., KYC, tax, payment, and hosting) and with government authorities when required by law (e.g., tax reporting). We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (e.g., under the CCPA/CPRA).
